>> ALERT <<
Dear Teachers & Students,
The most important thing to remember in this
era of post 9-11 is to always remain calm and vigilant, and to
never, ever panic. To panic means to lose control. Walking
around in fear or panicking will only mean that the terrorists won and got
their wish.
There is currently an alert
that is out right now which involves all public schools regarding stolen
buses across the United States (happened months ago, but not widely spread
in the news).
The internet link regarding all the details
about the very nature of this current threat, has been revealed by Glen
Beck, hosting this special on CNN. It is entitled "The Perfect Day"
-------- Parts 1 through 4. This special should be watched by Teachers
first, then the teachers can decide if the 'Special' would be appropriate
for their students as well... I believe Part 2 or 3 is a little graphical
and in my judgment, not suitable for younger kids.

If
the link is not functioning, please go to CNN.com and execute a search for
"The Perfect Day Part" (without the quotes [4 parts]). and let us know at:

While we are trying to identify these
'sleeper cells' whom so far we are guessing would be bus drivers... we are
not going to be racially profiling here. We are only going to give out the
description given to us by the federal authorities. We do in fact and must
emphasize how patriotic and loyal many of the Arabic and Middle
Eastern/American people are here in our United States.
First of all, always report anyone or
anything that appears suspicious. The general public might expect this
intruder to be mostly men of middle eastern
descent, but the reality is that it is quite
possible for the terrorist to be of any race... Of course, how would we
know if the bus driver might turn out to be a legitimate substitute driver.
I would think a clue would be If this
bus driver just suddenly appears out of no where and with an
accent (could also be English, German, etc. Terror cells are everywhere
now), AND with a bus that seems out of place, out of state, or just a gut
feeling you may have... >> The key here is "Out-of-Place" and "Gut
Feeling"....<< ... I would then throw up a flag.
Common sense and the
rule of thumb apply here, however, we don't want to overreact or cause to
many false alarms. This would then tie up law enforcement, depleting them
of valuable resources needed to identify the actual terrorists that they are
looking for. However, we must always follow our instincts and gut feelings.
This demands a careful look at the balance by not 'overdoing it', or
'under-doing it'. Every teacher and student knows their school better than
any parent or law enforcement agent, and what a typical and normal day would
be like. Thus, what we want to look for in spotting a terrorist is the 'ABNORMAL'.
Look for things out of place and abnormal. Question new people (politely)
or strange people within the grounds... especially bus drivers. Get to know
your bus driver and their background training.

See if your local school participates or has
an actual plan or drill for this particular type of a terrorist threat. If
not, create one with the district or principal.
PLEASE HELP US TO EDUCATE AS MANY PEOPLE
AS YOU CAN REGARDING THIS CURRENT THREAT. You can give out our organization
"MajorCare.org" for instructions and education regarding this threat to our
precious public schools. Share this with everyone you know and... everyone
you don't know. -----Thank You.
